Terms of service.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by Harris and Moore Bespoke Ltd ("HMB", "we", "our", or "us"). By engaging our services, accepting a quotation, or paying a deposit, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services Provided
Harris and Moore Bespoke Ltd is a Surrey-based construction company offering domestic and commercial building services across the UK.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accepting a quotation, issuing a deposit, or otherwise instructing us to carry out works, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
3. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw our services at any time prior to or during a tendering process, especially in cases of unreasonable risk, safety concerns, or inappropriate conduct.
4. Quotations & Deposits
All quotations issued by HMB are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Acceptance of a quotation and/or payment of a deposit constitutes agreement to these Terms.
5. Materials and Ownership
All materials supplied by HMB, whether fixed or unfixed, remain the property of HMB until payment has been received in full.
Materials on site, whether fixed or unfixed, are at the sole risk of the client.
In the event of loss, damage, or theft, the client is responsible for the full replacement cost.
The cost of replacing such materials will be added to the project total.
6. Guarantees and Warranties
We offer a 12-month guarantee on all workmanship where HMB has supplied all materials.
This guarantee is void if:
Payment is delayed beyond agreed terms
Client-supplied materials cause defects
Third-party interference or misuse occurs
HMB has not supplied all materials involved in warranty claim
Any warranty claims must be submitted in writing within the guarantee period.
7. Delays and Rescheduling
Delays in access to the property or the rescheduling of works by the client may result in additional charges or withdrawal of services.
Delays caused by client-supplied materials or third-party services may affect the quality or outcome of our work, and may void applicable warranties.
In such cases, we reserve the right to submit a revised quotation.
8. Payment Terms
Full payment is due in accordance with the terms outlined in the quotation or invoice.
Delayed or non-payment voids all warranties and may incur interest or legal action.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate works in the event of payment default.
9. Health and Safety
Clients must ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times. We reserve the right to stop work if conditions are deemed unsafe, which may result in project delays or additional costs.
10. Liability
HMB is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage. Our total liability under these Terms is limited to the value of the contract.
11. Cancellation
If the client cancels the project after acceptance of a quotation or payment of deposit, HMB reserves the right to retain part or all of the deposit to cover incurred costs.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
